Advice for Potential Installers and Merchants
Below you will find information compiled to help contractors who would like to become installers and merchants who would like to stock F1 GRP products.
Becoming an Approved Installer
F1 offers all potential installers a practical Training day that comprehensively covers all aspects of the F1 GRP System. This can be carried out at either your local merchant, or at our F1 training facility. We will also be happy to carry out training on location, on one of your own roofs, with the permission of your customer. We would agree a fee for this subject to numbers of installers and time required at the property.
Once you have become an approved installer of our F1 GRP System, you will be issued with a complete Media pack which consists of your installer certificate, brochures, customers literature, approved installer van stickers, and the all important full technical backup just a phone call away. Once you are an approved installer you can offer the full 25yr product guarantee. Every F1 approved installer is allocated a unique certificate number to prevent 3rd party misrepresentation, so you can give peace of my mind to your customers.
F1 installers are independent roofing contractors and companies that have passed our selection process, completed the training program and consistently passed our inspections and testing enabling them to deliver an excellent standard of approved workmanship and service.

Any potential merchant can book a demo day, We will setup on site with our gazebo, demo roof, TV and all merchandising material and we will be there offering expert advice and guidance and can answer any questions you and your customers may have.
We will then promote your F1 GRP approved merchant status to your roofing customers and hopefully book them onto one of our training days, to become an approved F1 Installer. Once we have 6 of your customers booked on the training course we will then book a date with you to carry out the training.

We have a wealth of experience we can pass onto our approved merchants enabling them to give a first class service and offer consistent product advice. The demo day will help to establish interest in the F1 system and will generate subsequent training days for your potential customers to go on to become approved installers.
The Merchant training will give you the necessary tools and knowledge to confidently advise and service your F1 GRP product enquiries and as an approved merchant you will benefit from our on-going product development and the technical back up which is available direct from an F1 product technician. We are here to help, not just at the beginning but throughout your merchant status and at every stage you can talk to us. Our website, media packs and installation guides will answer most of your questions along the way, but we believe technical expertise and advice should be delivered personally and your questions and any queries answered swiftly.
